I will sometimes have leaks at night so I decided to try these diaper covers, which are actually vinyl and not plastic or rubber. I'll admit when I joined ADISC 2 years ago I thought these were silly, but now they seem practical.

Plastic pants are devices worn over a diaper for the purpose of containing liquid or solid waste that may otherwise leak through the fabric. Today, plastic pants are usually made out of polyvinyl chloride or polyurethane, though, in some instances, latex rubber is still used. Wikipedia

How many other members wear these?

I wear similar plastic pants as on your pictures. Always when I'm padded at night, often during the day as an extra "security blanket".

I wear rubber pants(plastic really) whenever I wear diapers because I always use cloth prefold diapers and my bed or pants would get wet without. It was good enough for my mom to use on me when I was a teenager and its good enough for me now, and my girlfriend would allow me to not wear rubber pants.

Everynight I wear PULs (polyurethane lined - Garu Wear active PUL) with my training underwear. I use to wear vinyl underpants and it would get very hot down in my area there. These shed heat great and I am very comfortable and secure at night.

I rarely leak but I wear them 24/7 with a pair of cotton panties in between to soak up any leaks. I leaked once and it worked.

I mostly wear cloth so yeah, I wear plastic pants. I'm actually turned on by plastic pants and even have dreams about them. I was always fascinated by them when I was a kid.

I occasionally wear the old-fashion cloth diapers and, of course, plastic/rubber pants are essential in that case.

When wearing disposables, yes, I sometimes use plastic/rubber pants but not very often.

I've worn cloth diapers off and on for almost 30 years and recently went back to wearing cloth at night for the first time in 4 years. I've worn dozens of types of vinyl pants over the years, but my favorite are Gary's (especially the no-wick pants) and BabyKins. I rarely wear them over disposables though unless they are the ones that have a cloth liner to catch any potential leaks.

I love plastic pants as much as diapers. I cant wear a diaper with out a nice poofy pair of plastic pants on as well. Its almost not complete with out them on. I was always diapered as a child with a pair of them on over the diapers and they were disposable diapers too. I have about 25 pairs of the adult Gerber ones and they are just like the kids ones from back in the day. I know they dont make those anymore. When I put them on over my diaper Im right back to being a toddler feeling again.

Being that I usually wear gauze contour diapers plastic pants are a requirement to prevent transfer of moisture to clothing, furniture, bedding, or anything else that I may come into contact with. When I’m going to be away from home for any extended period I wear plastic backed Abena M4’s and plastic pants over them. Though they aren’t necessary for preventing moisture transfer with these disposables it helps contain odors from my fecal IC, prevents my clothing from tearing the tapes loose, and helps contain any leaks that may occur. I’ve had a desire to wear plastic pants as far back as I can remember so it’s nice to have a reason to justify my wearing them now.

Well sometimes I do wear a Suprima 1249 and I also got a cheaper one made by barebum? So to be honest I liked them at the beginning (i wet at night) I liked them but besides being a bedwetter i was or better said still am and will be a diaperlover (since 14 Year).luckily I was able to accept that this side will go with me my whole life and decided to go 24/7 except for #2 about a years ago?
Damn sometines I get really dissolute How many of you wear "Vinyl or Rubber Pants" to bed or during the day? (17)
Back to topic. In my point of view they lessen the feeling of the diaperfoil (between my legs). So I ll only wear them when it's not too hot m or when I'm too tired changing my nighttime diaper

I always wear plastic pants over my disposable while at work. But I've worked from home on my last two contract jobs and have gotten out of the habit. I should probably wear at night, too, but usually don't.

If I am wearing cloth diapers (like most of the time) I always wear plastic or rubber pants over them.

I've always found the quality of these to be awful even the expensive ones. I've found with every one I've used that if the diaper leaked so did the cover.

I am a bed wetter, so I wear protection every night. Normally, that is cloth pull-on type diapers/training pants and plastic/vinyl/PEVA overpants. I will wear during the day also if I am going to take a nap. Sometimes, I wear just for the fun of it because I also like the smooth, soft feeling of my diapers and overpants. I don't usually use plastic pants over a disposable; I do wear disposables once in a while, especially if traveling or away from home.

I once worn old fashioned rubber pants, they were very thick and heavy but smelled too strong of rubber and were way too warm.
But now I wear Suprima 1249 or 1250 plastic (PVC) pants at night in the winter and Suprima 1288 (which I think are PU because of their cotton feel outside), though downside is that leaks cause the leg gatherers of those pants to become wet too.

Whether in a cloth nappy (need) or in a disposable I always wear plastic pants.
It’s important for the look and feel for me as much as the safety aspect
